2026 Scotland and Wales Election Analysis Ep 14: Round-up of the week


FAI Deputy Director Joao Sousa is joined by Ed Poole and Guto Ifan of the Wales Governance Centre and FAI Director Mairi Spowage to talk about the developments on the campaign trail in Wales and Scotland, including discussions about the publication of costings and the trade-offs that parties are mostly avoiding.

Previously, he was a Senior Fiscal Analyst at the Office for Budget Responsibility, where he led on analysis of long-term sustainability of the UK's public finances and on the effect of economic developments and fiscal policy on the UK's medium-term outlook.
