This discussion paper examines the data challenges linked to socioeconomic health inequalities, exploring key shifts in the data landscape and SHERU’s efforts to support a more inclusive and robust evidence base.
As part of SHERU’s efforts to strengthen the evidence base, we are working to enhance data accessibility, broaden the scope of high-quality evidence, and better leverage existing resources to support effective policymaking in addressing health inequalities in Scotland.
