Impacts of the crisis on the voluntary sector

Mairi Spowage is joined by Ian Bruce, Chief Officer at the Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS) and Jenny Paterson, CEO of Breakthrough, to discuss how the current pandemic is affecting the voluntary sector in Scotland. This includes the immediate impact on the sector of the crisis and how the sector has had to adapt in this unprecedented period.

Policy measures to support the sector, the support that organisations are giving to each other, and the long-term impacts on the sector are discussed, including the role that the voluntary sector can have in supporting the economic recovery to come.
